Beginning long before sunrise, he’d mix, knead, and bake - all by hand - to have warm bread ready for purchase each morning. As time evolved, Damascus Bakeries introduced its beloved pita to other communities, promoting its versatility as a tasty, healthy, fun, pocket bread option.
